Developing Communication Skills for Healthcare Researchers
The CDC Foundation wanted to create positive health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries by helping participants develop their scientific writing/communication skills.
Our team:
- Reviewed existing materials and reworked the workshop curriculum.
- Developed two virtual, instructor-led trainings from the existing materials, creating an engaging experience with interactivities to support learning.
- Tailored courses to engage and support audiences including English-as-a-second language learners and participants with low-internet speed.
- Created “train the trainer” resources for facilitators.
Mind & Media took a vast expanse of existing materials, from PowerPoints and instructor guides to tutorials and supplemental documents to create a five-week Public Health Bulletin workshop.
