Website Redesign and Modernization

The Challenge

Young Government Leaders (YGL) wanted to update their website with a fresher look, user-friendly navigation, and robust new features, while also giving their volunteers the ability to easily update and maintain the site, and allow local chapters to create and manage their own chapter pages.

 

The Solution

Mind & Media re-developed the information architecture for the new website and then evaluated numerous content management systems (CMSs) to determine the right technological solution. With the work plan in place, Mind & Media:

 

    • Re-designed the site interface including a bold new YGL logo
    • Implemented Drupal, a open-source CMS with the necessary features
    • Programmed forms for online subscriptions, donations, and event registrations
    • Integrated the forms with PayPal for payment of dues and event fees
