Veterans Affairs' National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (NCPTSD) asked Mind & Media to help them develop a strategy for bringing their online training and awareness tools for clinicians and the public to the next level. Mind & Media consultants helped NCPTSD establish a long range plan to revamp and update the curriculum and repurpose existing material into fast-loading, interactive online presentations. We have thus far redeveloped 15 of their “PTSD 101” courses for clinicians into fast-loading, attractive continuing education courses, with six more on the way. In addition, we’ve converted their popular print document "Returning from the War Zone: A Guide for Families," as an award-winning, interactive online multimedia presentation. And we've developed two more video-enhanced courses for the public, “Understanding PTSD” and “Understanding PTSD Treatment.” These engaging presentations give trauma survivors and family members critical information on PTSD and how to get help.
Cyveillance, Inc. wanted to make the information in their three-hour, executive level, classroom-based course, “Cyber Safety 101” available to all of their clients’ employees at a lower cost. They came to Mind & Media for help repurposing the material as a one-hour online course deliverable via client Learning Management Systems (LMSs). Mind & Media distilled the material into a fast-paced, interesting online course enhanced with video, audio narration, interactive exercises, and attractive graphics. Cyveillance’s initial client was delighted with the course, delivering it to their 9,000 employees. Cyveillance is now lightly customizing this award-winning product for other clients.
