The Challenge

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sought a video presentation to commemorate ten successful years of Neighborhood Networks, an important initiative that provides computer learning centers to children and families in lower-income areas across our nation.

 

The Solution

Mind & Media collaborated with Lockheed Martin Aspen Systems to develop an engaging video presentation recognizing the hard work and dedication of the Neighborhood Networks staff and volunteers. Mind & Media:

  • Developed a compelling script for the video that educated people about the initiative, illustrated its benefits to the surrounding communities, and inspired people to join or expand their membership participation
  • Fused together a mix of original footage, existing B-roll and still photography, graphics, music, and narrative voice-over
  • Complemented the video with an interactive CD, incorporating versions of the video in subtitles and Spanish translation

 

The Results

By incorporating the motivational video into an interactive CD, Mind & Media empowered HUD to heighten awareness of the program’s mission, boost support, and attract new participants. Additionally, the subtitles and Spanish translation enable HUD to effectively and economically reach out to several diverse audiences with a single product.
