Answer The Call

The Challenge

Veterans Affairs' National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (NCPTSD) realized that their popular print document, "Returning from the War Zone: A Guide for Families," could better engage today’s media-savvy younger veterans and their families as an interactive online multimedia presentation.

The Solution

Using cutting-edge on-line technologies that blend colorful graphics, documentary-style video, narration, clear language, and interactivity, Mind & Media created a dynamic, easy-to-use, on-line awareness tool.

This 50-minute engaging online course includes tips for smooth reunion, dealing with common reintegration stresses, and spotting mental health issues like depression and PTSD. The presentation’s attractive design,  interactivity, and fast down-load time is light-years ahead of other on-line training provided by Veterans Affairs.

The Results

Pleased with the results of this on-line tool, Veterans Affairs has contracted with Mind & Media to create a series of similarly branded and beautifully designed on-line training courses to teach clinicians about PTSD.
