Business Awards, a division of the Stevie Awards.

October 2007—The Greater
Washington Government Contractor Awards were held on Wednesday, October 10th,
and Mind & Media was honored as a finalist for Contractor of the Year. Finalists
were selected based on quality of work life, community service, revenue growth,
significant accomplishments over the past year, and government customer testimonials.
Mind & Media was one of five finalists in the Less than $25 Million (annual
revenues) category. Hundreds of contractors attended from all over the Washington
area.

September 2007—The Greater

Creativity
36 to Include Two Mind & Media Entries
August 2007—The Creativity Awards will feature
two Mind & Media
entries in the next edition of its annual design showcase, Creativity 36, honoring
work completed in 2006. Our DVD The Way of the Warrior will appear in
the Training Film/Video category, and our multimedia training package TEAM Mobilization
Leader Toolkit, will be featured in the Package Design section. Both projects
were completed for the Army National Guard.
Content Development Team Recognized
with APEX Awards
July 2007—Mind & Media's Content Development team was honored
for their outstanding work with two APEX Awards of Excellence for writing:
the video script
for National Guard's Answer the Call DVD
in the Marketing & Public Relations: Electronic & Video Publications category,
and the SEAR Training Toolkit,
also for National Guard, in the One-of-a-Kind: Government Publications category.
Galaxy Grand Award for Best
of Interactive Media
July 2007—Mind & Media's Answer
the Call CD was selected from all the Galaxy Gold winners for the Grand Award,
Best of Interactive Media. MerComm, Inc. sponsors a number of award competitions,
with the Galaxy recognizing excellence in Marketing. Answer the Call, a National
Guard project, provides officer recruiters with a set of multimedia tools they
can use to demonstrate the benefits and challenges of serving as an officer in
the Army National Guard. The CD is sent home with prospects so that they may
review the material on their own at home and share the information with their
families. The CD includes an opening video, video highlights from the recruiter's
DVD presentation, additional information about officer training, job descriptions,
and benefits, and links to more information on line.

Results
June 2007—The results of the 5th
American Business Awards, also known as "The Stevies," were
announced last night. Sara Hill Isacson, a writer at Mind & Media
for the past two years, was named Best Creative Person. Congratulations
Sara!

Stevie Award Finalists
May 2007—Eight Mind & Media staffers have been selected as
finalists in the 5th Annual American Business Awards, also known as "The
Stevies." The Stevies honor the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions
of companies and business people worldwide. The finalists were announced May
14th, with winners to be announced at an awards banquet on June 11 in New York
City.

Web Log Reaches 200 Posts
April 2007—Inspire
Action, the Mind & Media blog, recently put up its
200th post! We launched Inspire Action last July with the
hope that it would become a catalyst for new media conversation,
that it would be informative, insightful, and even entertaining
for our clients, partners and peers. We underestimated ourselves.
Inspire Action now averages close to one hundred fresh visits per day (and climbing). We've received plenty of compliments on its readable tone and relevant content. Count on more of the same as we move ahead. Thanks for helping us continue the conversation!
Summit Creative Awards Recognize Mind & Media Products
April
2007—Mind & Media has received two Summit Creative
Awards. Our StayGuard.com website for the Army National
Guard received a Gold Summit in the Government Website
category. In the Recruitment Video category, we received
a Silver Summit for our Answer

2007—The 28th Annual Telly Awards concluded
with three wins for Mind & Media projects. We received
Silver Tellys for Answer the

both National Guard projects. Our Deparment of Labor video,

First, won a Bronze Telly in Government Relations.
