The ChallengeNational Guard Bureau (NGB) needed a way to easily market its suite of recruit sustainment, leadership training, and soldier retention tools to its leadership nationwide. Previously, the Guard had marketed each product using separate marketing CDs, mass emails, and conference announcements and demonstrations. As the number of tools continued to expand and become interconnected, the Guard realized that the individual marketing eff orts were inefficient and not cost-eff ective.
The Solution Mind & Media developed the StayGuard.com website to
educate Guard leaders from the state level down to the
First Line about NGB’s extensive, free training materials.
The ResultsStayGuard.com has allowed the Guard to save thousands of dollars in marketing costs previously used to develop, duplicate, and distribute marketing CDs for each of their training products —including update costs every time the training products were revised. Now NGB can market all of its training products in one easily andinstantly updatable location.
