Answer The Call

The Challenge

In early 2004, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) administered the Organizational Satisfaction Survey (OSS) to measure and evaluate employee satisfaction. To measure progress and evaluate the changes put in place by the original OSS, TSA wished to administer a second employee satisfaction survey.

The Solution

Mind & Media developed a comprehensive solution to develop, administer, analyze, and report on the follow-up survey. In collaboration with our partner, ICF International/Caliber Associates, Mind & Media:

  • Worked closely with TSA to develop a thorough employee satisfaction survey
  • Crafted a detailed marketing plan and accompanying marketing materials
  • Administered the survey to TSA’s entire workforce
  • Analyzed the survey data and conducted post-hoc analyses to uncover trends
  • Presented TSA with detailed, multi-tier reports by user level

The Results

The second TSA OSS was successfully administered to more than 57,000 TSA employees. Conducting this important survey provided TSA leadership with an opportunity to hear the “voice” of their employees.
