DRIVING

 

From DC via GW Parkway:

  1. Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway toward Alexandria (it's co-named North Washington Street in the Old Town Alexandria neighborhood).
  2. Turn right on Wythe Street (next street after Madison).
  3. After seven blocks, you'll come to the light at West Street, in front of the Braddock Road Metro station. Wythe Street ends and Braddock Road begins. You will go straight (lane shifts slightly to the left at the light with West Street) to go from Wythe to Braddock.
  4. Follow Braddock under the Metro overpass to the next light (Mt. Vernon Ave.).
  5. Turn right on Mt. Vernon Ave.
  6. Follow Mt. Vernon Ave. approximately 0.7 miles (12 blocks) to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave. on the left side of the street. We're in the block with Evening Star restaurant, between the Exotic Planterium, Card & Collectorama store and Thai Peppers restaurant.

 

(Note: It is a little faster to take the Slaters Lane exit, take the Route 1 North exit over the bridge, getting in the right lane immediately to take Monroe Ave. exit, then right on Mt Vernon Ave. However, the Slaters Lane exit is so easy to miss from the Parkway that the directions above will serve you better if you aren't that familiar with the area.)

 

From DC via 395:

  1. Take 395 South toward Alexandria.
  2. Take the Route 1 South exit to Crystal City.
  3. Follow Route 1 South to Monroe Avenue (an exit on the right just after Howell and before you go over a bridge).
  4. Turn right on Monroe Avenue.
  5. Follow Monroe two blocks to the light at Mt. Vernon Ave.
  6. Turn right on Mt. Vernon Ave.
  7. Follow Mt. Vernon Ave. five blocks to 2016 on the left side of the street. We're in the block with Evening Star restaurant, between the Exotic Planterium, Card & Collectorama store and Thai Peppers restaurant.


From 495 (Woodrow Wilson Bridge):

  1. Take Route 1 North through Old Town Alexandria.
  2. After Madison, get into the right lane as you approach the bridge to take the Monroe Avenue exit at the end of the bridge.
  3. At the end of the exit turn right to get onto Monroe Avenue.
  4. Follow Monroe two blocks to the light at Mt. Vernon Ave.
  5. Turn right on Mt. Vernon Ave.
  6. Follow Mt. Vernon Ave. five blocks to 2016 on the left side of the street. We're in the block with Evening Star restaurant, between the Exotic Planterium, Card & Collectorama store and Thai Peppers restaurant.


From points west via 66:

  1. Take 66 East to 110 South (toward Reagan National Airport, Pentagon).
  2. 110 splits near Crystal City—take the LEFT lane to Route 1 South.
  3. Follow Route 1 South to Monroe Avenue (an exit on the right just after Howell and before you go over a bridge).
  4. Turn right on Monroe Avenue.
  5. Follow Monroe two blocks to the light at Mt. Vernon Ave.
  6. Turn right on Mt. Vernon Ave.
  7. Follow Mt. Vernon Ave. five blocks to 2016 on the left side of the street. We're in the block with Evening Star restaurant, between the Exotic Planterium, Card & Collectorama store and Thai Peppers restaurant.

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

We are closest to Braddock Road Metro but have provided directions from several Metro stations that our clients and guests might be coming from.

 

From Braddock Road Metro Station (Yellow or Blue Line):
From Braddock Road Metro, you may either:

  • Take a bus: 10A (toward Pentagon), 10B (toward Ballston), or 10E (toward Pentagon). Get off at Mt. Vernon Ave. and Windsor Ave. We're at 2016, next to Thai Peppers.
  • OR Take a cab: Catch a cab at Braddock Road Metro and ask them to take you to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave.
  • OR Walk: Turn right on exiting the metro station, then turn right (West) on East Braddock Road to go under the tracks. Turn right at the next light, which is Mt. Vernon Ave. Walk 11 blocks to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave. (between Howell and Windsor). Total walk: 1.2 miles.

 

From Crystal City Metro (Yellow or Blue Line)

  • Take the 10A bus (toward Hunting Towers) and get off at Mt. Vernon Ave. and East Bellefonte Ave. Walk 0.06 mile North to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave.

 

From King Street Metro Station (Yellow or Blue Line)

  • Take the Dash Bus 10 (toward Potomac Yard) and get off at Mt. Vernon Ave. and Windsor Ave. We're at 2016, next to Thai Peppers.

 

From Pentagon Metro Station (Yellow or Blue Line):

  • Take the 10A bus (toward Hunting Towers) and stop at Mt. Vernon Ave. and East Bellefonte Ave. Walk 0.06 miles North to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave.

 

From Ballston Metro Station (Orange Line):

  • Take the Orange line to Ballston.
  • Walk 0.04 mile Southeast to Ballston Station & Bus Bay E.
  • Take the 10B (toward Hunting Towers) and stop at Mt. Vernon Ave. and East Bellefonte Ave. Walk 0.06 mile North to 2016 Mt. Vernon Ave.
