The Challenge

The Military Equipment Valuation (MEV) initiative was created by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense’s Property and Equipment (P&E) Policy Office to implement new accounting standards for military equipment. The P&E Policy Office sought a versatile training solution to educate DoD business financial managers about the new accounting procedures.

The Solution

Mind & Media developed a SCORM-conformant web-based training program to instruct users. DoD featured the training on Defense Acquisition University (DAU), the online institution that provides the DoD community with a wide range of continuous learning opportunities.

The Results

Mind & Media’s SCORM solution allows the P&E Policy Office to easily provide critical training to business financial managers. By ensuring that all procurement professionals understand the new procedures, Mind & Media helps DoD capture the most accurate values possible for its military equipment. Armed with this knowledge, government officials are empowered to make sound investment decisions.
